About the role
We are looking for an AI iOS Engineer to join a team focused on AI applied to software development.
In this role you will not only build iOS applications: you will also work directly with AI tools and systems applied to code, helping to raise development quality, define good practices and evolve AI-assisted engineering workflows.
You will be part of an environment where traditional engineering meets applied AI innovation, taking an active part in improving models, evaluating AI-generated code and continuously optimising the development process.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and optimise iOS applications using modern architectures
- Work with AI systems to review, validate and improve automatically generated code
- Help build high-quality datasets from pull requests and code reviews
- Define development standards and good practices for AI-assisted coding
- Manage CI/CD pipelines that include automated checks and AI feedback
- Take part in model evaluation and continuous improvement cycles
- Work with product, design and QA teams to ensure quality and functional alignment
- Explore new AI tools that improve productivity, testing and delivery
- Contribute to an engineering culture built on data and continuous improvement
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in iOS development
- Experience with modern frameworks and architecture patterns
- Experience with testing and CI/CD environments
- Good understanding of APIs and data handling
- Experience working with Git and pull request workflows
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar)
- Interest in, and hands-on experience with, AI tools for software development (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Nice to have
- Experience in model evaluation or prompt engineering
- Knowledge of modular architectures or dependency injection
- Experience with observability or performance analytics tools
- Knowledge of vector databases or retrieval pipelines (RAG)
- Experience with fine-tuning or model improvement workflows
