Information Security Specialist (DevSecOps / AppSec)

Our client is an international technology company based in Barcelona that builds digital products for large global corporations.

Teams work in agile, multidisciplinary environments, taking part in the whole product lifecycle and combining technology with business vision. It is a dynamic, innovation-driven environment with high impact on digital products used by millions of people.

The team is currently building B2C digital solutions (loyalty programmes in sectors such as health and retail), where security is a core pillar from design all the way to production.

• Lead and coordinate product security initiatives, embedding a DevSecOps approach across the whole development lifecycle.
• Ensure security standards are met in development work and deliveries.
• Build a security culture within the teams (security champions, good practices, training).
• Oversee security at both corporate and product level, producing actionable reporting and metrics.
• Manage security events and incidents, taking part in their analysis and resolution.
• Work closely with development, architecture and business teams to ensure end-to-end security.

• 4+ years of experience in application security (AppSec / DevSecOps).
• Solid knowledge of:
  • Software architecture
  • Cloud computing
  • Microservices
• Ability to analyse complex technical problems and propose effective solutions.
• Experience working in agile environments with multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional English and Spanish (fluent communication).

Nice to have

• Development experience with .NET, Kotlin or Swift.
• Knowledge of:
  • Infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Containers and Kubernetes
• Experience with security tools such as Veracode (SCA / SAST).
• Security certifications (e.g. CISSP).
• Experience in:
  • Risk management
  • Running an ISMS
  • Security certification processes
